I love doing custom orders.

This is another one I just had to make for Easter.

Not really much of an easter decoration though.

This is to play for the grandchildren off one of my customers.

Grandma made the castle room in one of my felting classes and I was asked to make the figures for it. May be to  my next felting class she is going to bring the room and I can show you how it turned out.

Really gorgeous.

So much fun doing these things.

The Story of the "Snow Children " by Sibylle von Olfers

I had an other beautiful order to accomplish the other day. A customer has asked me to felt a childhood memory of hers. She would like to get a figure which would wear a red muff and a red coat. She was wearing this when she was dressed to watch the Christmas parade when she was little. What a precious moment.

 I had immediately Sybille Von Olfers book in my head " The snow children" , of the little girl in the red coat!

I was about to take the picture of the finished felt figure inside my studio, but this morning I woke up and their was this beautiful white fluffy coverage.

I had to take the pictures outside.

The Zinnia flower child

I just was asked to make a little flower fairy for a girl named Zinnia.

Since she has a little Asian heritage I tried to make the eyes look not as round

as usually.

The dress is all flower petals inspired by the Zinnia flower.
